The cover image is my triangle of most activity in my life : Thinking - Doing - Resting
- Thinking before Doing
- Doing before Resting
- Resting before Thinking
The middle point is called a balanced point. Which means my life is balanced, but I'm currently not!
The above photo is the Thinker statue - which I taken in Singapore trip 2015.
I was an over-think-ing man. I think every possibility could have happened before any action was taken. The nice thing is I "almost" prepare the mind for anything coming.
- I used 67% time to read, to simulate the code I wrote.
- I used 95% time to research, to prevent accidental downtime when migrating to a new system.
- I used 99% time to think about things I should write in this blog, but this is 1%
So the output looks promising about something neat, clean and great. But reality is opposite, I'm exhausted when I really do-ing, I abused the resting time to think.
Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe - Abraham Lincoln
Yah, maybe Abraham Lincoln recommended we should spend less than 67% :)
The bad side of the nice thing is I lost most surprises from reality events - which can trigger happiness and joy. Then I confuse signals from reality!
So this is my desired point location, hope I can moved it (from red to blue)
